Too Much FUN!

We decided to invest in two power wheels so the grand kids could have fun when they come. (I always say you have to buy every cool toy, yummy candy, and cute outfit you find for the grand kids. ) Jordan decided he would give them a try, both of them. After an hour of instruction from Cole he was exhausted! He didn't know steering would take so much concentration. And Cole didn't know he'd have to keep running for his life! (Nothing better than a little father and son bonding!) In the end Jordan was very pleased with himself.

Pretty In Pink...

Baby's first skirt. She sure is pretty in pink. Today Shaunna and I went and visited Tera and her new baby. Her new baby was beautiful! And being so close in age, the two mothers were sure they would be best friends!

Finally Organized!

I finally got my craft room organized! It's about time. Now I should be able to zip zip zip those crafts out, yea, right!

A Project That Actually Worked!

We had a fun project for my Young Woman's group at church that worked out well. For the supplies we used; a small terra cotta pot, beans, a hodge podge assortment of silk flowers, writing pens, florist tape, and foam stickers. We cut the flowers, with about 4" of stem left on. Then we attached each one to the end of a pen with florist tape, stopping just above where the pen cap starts. We filled the pot with beans and put the stickers on the outside of the pot. All you have to do then is stick the pens in the pot and you have a fun pen holder!

One Perfect Day...

There is nothing better than floppy babies to make "One Perfect Day".

Not big enough to do the job!

Everyone knows how much Jordan loves whoopin' cream. Thank goodness papa makes all of those pies! This weekend he made pumpkin caramel pecan and key lime with lemon curd. This time he had left over whipping and gave the bowl to Jordan. Jordan traded his beater for a spoon and started digging in. Then he got a funny look on his face, said, "Here daddy", handed Cole the spoon and ran off. (We couldn't figure out what was going on and why he abandoned his bowl.) He came back a few minutes later with a shovel and plowed right in! I guess he decided the spoon wasn't big enough to do the job!

A HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOUT

A HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOUT goes out to Nathan and Travis! Mom had birthday cake for Nathan at their house. It was yummy too! (crust with pecans, chocolate pudding and whipped cream) She even made a special one for those who are lactose intolerant! I gave Nathan a stash of chocolate, ( so he didn't have to bribe Charlie to show him where mom keeps hers.) I wish we could have celebrated with Travis and I hope he also had a happy birthday.
